Learning from Nature

Learning from Nature

Nature is the physical world and everything in it such as plants, animals, land, water, ocean, stars and things that can’t be made by human. Nature is God’s greatest boon to mankind. The land where we built our home, the air that keep us alive, the water and sunlight that help plants to grow it is all nature and that’s why nature become God’s greatest gift to us.
In this modern era, human’s attitude towards nature are giving more effect to our nature. There’s a good attitude and a bad one. There are people who cares for nature, they take care of the plants, reduce using things that will harm nature like cars, plastic bag, spray, etc. But of course when there’s a good one there’ll be also the bad one. Beside those who cares, there are people who neglected nature or even destroy. They took benefits from destroying our nature like killed animals so they can sell the furs or cut the trees so they can make papers and sell them.
Well, of course when someone do bad things to nature, not only will that person who feel the effect but most of mankind would also feel the effect. For example, global warming is nature destruction because of mankind’s lifestyle and attitude towards nature. What’s the effect from global warming? Well first, with global warming that keep on increasing each day, our earth will keep on getting hotter and hotter. The second effect is that maybe one day, all of the ice in North and South pole will melt and covers the land with water. If that really happen, can we survive?
That horrible tragedy are still in the future and we can still reduce the effect by taking care our nature. How can we take care of our nature? It’s easy, first you can start by throwing trash in its place then start growing some plants to reduce CO2 in our atmosphere. Then to reduce global warming, we can start by using public transportation or using a bike. By using a bike, you can reduce global warming and keep your body healthy.

There’s a lot of benefits and services that we get from nature even if we don’t realize it. Like for example, nature’s services. We may don’t realize it but we won’t survive without nature service and what kind of service that nature gave us? Nature give us oxygen from plants for free, we don’t have to pay for the oxygen that keep us alive. Then, water that come from the rain that provides us waters to fulfill our daily needs. Then, the sunshine that took an important role in our life as our eternal light and also help plants to grow.
Beside services, nature also gave us a lot of benefits. Like nature can release worry and stress, they can also simulate our imagination, and also they can be our source of inspiration especially for artist or musician.
But, what can we really learn from nature? Well, after knowing nature’s services, benefits, how to take care of nature, we can finally learn that the best thing are truly free like nature. We don’t need to pay to plants for providing us oxygen, or to rain and sunshine that gave us water and light, or to the beautiful nature that gave us inspiration. All we need to do is be grateful for the nature that god gift to us and paying them by taking care of them not destroying them. Be grateful and started your first action to give our earth and the next generation a better future that can grow smile in everyone's face.

Song

“High Hopes”
Kodaline

Broken bottles in the hotel lobby
Seems to me like I'm just scared of never feeling it again
I know it's crazy to believe in silly things
But it's not that easy

I remember it now, it takes me back to when it all first started
But I've only got myself to blame for it, and I accept it now
It's time to let it go, go out and start again
But it's not that easy

But I've got high hopes, it takes me back to when we started
High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again
High hopes, when it all comes to an end
But the world keeps spinning around

And in my dreams, I meet the ghosts of all the people who have come and gone
Memories, they seem to show up so quick but they leave you far too soon
Naïve I was just staring at the barrel of a gun
And I do believe that, yeah

But I've got high hopes, it takes me back to when we started
High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again
High hopes, oh, when it all comes to an end
Now the world keeps spinning
Yeah, the world keeps spinning around

High hopes, it takes me back to when we started
High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again
High hopes, oh,
And the world keeps spinning
Ooh, yeah, this world keeps spinning

How this world keeps spinning around

High hopes is one of Kodaline’s song from the “In a Perfect World” album and it was released on March,15th 2013.

It’s probably an old song it have a lot of meaning for me. First time i heard this song was a long time ago and i thought it have a deep meaning for me back then. Once i met a boy. We were closed and we talked for a quite some time. It maybe be short but weirdly, there is a few memorable memory that i can still remember vaguely.
So one day, that boy just left without saying anything. He just stopped talking to me, stop sending message to me, and whenever wherever i pass by, he would just act like he didn’t know me. At first it’s hurt but as the time flies, i get used to it.

Kodaline’s song, High Hopes really fits into my situation and has a deep meaning for me back then where i hoped that i can go back to where we started because there’s a memory that still lingers on my mind that make me hoped that maybe we can start all over again, as friends.

Holiday

Last Holiday
Hello everyone! How are you? Before I start telling you about my holiday, I wanted to say Happy New Year 2017, everyone! May this year be better that the last one.
So, after we studied for about four months and finished the final exam, we finally got our school break for about two weeks.  I spent my holiday at Bandung since most of my family live in Bandung.
From 24th until 29th December 2016, I spent my school break at home since my parents still have to go to work. At home, I watched all the movies that I couldn’t watch because of homework, test, and school stuff. I also watch some popular Korean drama to spend all my freetime.
Then on 30 December 2016, my cousin from Jakarta came to my house and finally, I went out with them. We went to Tahura (Taman Hutan Raya Djuanda), a popular spot for Bandung citizen or foreigner. This place has a very important part in Indonesia’s History.
After we arrived at Tahura, we first took photos around there until my cousin found something interesting. He found a spot full of hammocks. He wanted to take a photo in the hammock so badly. So, we decided to ask the operator about how to climb the hammock since it’s so tall. The operator told us that if we want to take a photo, we have to register first and pay twenty thousand rupiah each person. So, we register and paid the price, after the operator finished the administration, he told us to wait until he called my aunt’s name. So we wait for about 15 minutes until he called us.
He then told us to wear the safety belt first before climbing and after we finished wearing those safety belt, he told us to climb the tree so we can sit at the hammock. The first one to climb is my cousin since he wanted to sit at the tallest hammock. Next was my uncle the my sister and then my younger cousin. At first, she was going to sit in the fourth hammock but she was so afraid so she then sat on the fifth one. Next was my older cousin and her brother sit at the fourth hammock. Last one is me, I sat on the sixth hammock. At first, you’ll be afraid that the hammock might flip and then you’ll fall but after a while you wouldn’t be afraid anymore and find that sitting on the hammock was quite fun and relaxing.
After we took so many photo and phhhoto, an application to create a moving photo, we went down one by one. When all of us finished taking off the safety belt and putting on our shoes, we went out from Tahura since my uncle and the boys must do one of our prayers, Sholat Jumat. While they do their prayers, we bought some drinks and snacks to fill a bit of our empty stomach. We also discussed where we wanted to go next, some wanted to go to the Japan cave but some wanted to go to Wale, a restaurant that in my opinion sell one of the best chicken noodle and meatballs. So, we did a voting and decided to go to Wale, since most of us voted to eat cause all of us already hungry. After we ate at Wale, we all decided to call it a day and went back home.
The next day, 31st December 2016, the last day on 2016, I went to Maribaya with my cousin and my family. Since it’s weekend, my parents can join us. We went to my uncle’s café at Maribaya. The café was so comfortable and feels like home. The café called Kidang Nyaring, they sell many kinds of coffee, doughnuts, and pizzas. We chat for a while and took photos before moving to Day and Night Cafe, this place is a restaurant that have so many birds. We ate lunch there and also saw kinds of birds. The food was delicious and the birds there are beautiful.
At New Year's eve, we ordered delivery pizzas and have a small barbeque party. While the others were sleeping, i couldn't sleep so i decided to continue watching Korean drama until half past one in the morning before i decided to sleep.
The next day until the day before school.
